This policy explains how SeeWorkShop collects, uses, and protects information when you use the app, whether as a business admin managing a shop or as a customer buying from one of our stores.

1. Who we are

SeeWorkShop is operated by Craig West, trading as Seewest, based in Paisley, Scotland, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for account and platform data, and act as a data processor on behalf of the businesses ("shop owners") who run their stores through SeeWorkShop.

2. What data we collect

If you're a shop admin:

• Name, email address, and login credentials
• Business details entered into the admin panel (shop name, product listings, pricing, stock levels)
• Order and sales data relating to your store

If you're a customer buying from a store:

• Name, email address, and delivery address
• Order details (items purchased, order value, order status)
• Payment is handled directly by our payment provider; we do not store your card or bank details

3. How we use this data

• To operate your account and provide the admin panel or storefront
• To process and fulfil orders, including delivery and customer support
• To communicate with you about your account or an order (e.g. order confirmations, status updates)
• To maintain the security and reliability of the platform
• To meet legal or regulatory obligations, such as tax record-keeping

4. Legal basis for processing

Under UK GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (processing your order or running your account), legitimate interests (keeping the platform secure and improving the service), and legal obligation (record-keeping requirements).

5. Who we share data with

We share data with the following third parties strictly to run the service:

• Supabase — our database and authentication provider, hosted on [insert hosting region, e.g. Hetzner, Germany]
• Wallid (and/or Stripe, where applicable) — our payment processor, which handles payment details directly and securely
• The individual shop owner you're buying from, so they can fulfil your order

We do not sell your data to third parties.

We keep account data for as long as your account is active, and order data for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes (typically 6 years in the UK). You can request deletion of your account data at any time, subject to these legal retention requirements.
