Craig West. Photographer, based in Glasgow.

I’m a photographer based in Glasgow, Scotland, working across portraits, elopements, engagements and events, including corporate photography, for clients throughout the country and beyond.

I discovered photography from a young age, starting with point-and-shoots and film cameras, then iPhone photography as it developed. My interest took shape properly while working as a creative at Apple in London, where I learned to edit on Aperture and began shooting with a set of 1960s Nikons inherited from my uncle. I left Apple in 2024 to pursue photography full time.

What matters most to me is the experience I create for the people I work with, not just the final images. Being in front of a camera can feel uncomfortable, so I focus on keeping things relaxed and natural rather than staged. I pride myself on being friendly, professional, and consistently delivering strong results, always aiming to refine my craft and improve with every project.
